Fireworks light up the night sky yesterday at the Darb Al Saai grounds at Al Sadd, Doha, as part of the Qatar National Day celebrations.
If you have not been there yet, then you’re missing out on some great Qatari cultural experience. Instead of heading over to Souq Waqif for some local cultural indulging, I suggest you go to the Darb Al Saai grounds at Al Saad.
There are a lot of activities going on there as part of the Qatar National Day celebrations this year. It is definitely bigger and better.
You are in store for a lot of traditional activities like sword dance, shooting, horse riding, henna dressing, handicraft making and the list is never ending. You may also try out some Qatari cuisines when you get tired of all the walking.
I will let some pictures do the talking. Here’s what I saw at Darb Al Saai 2014.
