Yemen’s army clashes with Houthis in Dalih, 18 dead

DUBAI: Yemen’s army killed and wounded 30 members of the Iran-backed Houthi militia on Friday in clashes that took place in the southern province of Dalih, Saudi state-news agency SPA reported.

The Yemeni military sources said that the clashes broke out between the two sides while militants tried to infiltrate army positions.

The clashes resulted in the deaths of 18 militia members, including two field commanders called Mohammed Abdullah al-Musami and Mohsen Riab, in addition to wounding 12 others.
