With ISIL gone, Iraqi Kurds still battle a weak economy

People living in the semi-autonomous Kurdish region of northern Iraq are struggling with a weak economy.

Before the battle to push out ISIL in 2014, the economy was growing and there were high hopes for a surge in foreign investment.

As Al Jazeera’s Natasha Ghoneim reports from Erbil, there are signs things are improving, but people say not fast enough.
