UK horse racing cancelled after outbreak of equine flu
|Six horses have been diagnosed with equine flu, with three confirmed cases in Britain.
All of the horses are from the same stable, but the highly contagious virus has led to cancelling horse races across the country until at least Wednesday.
Horse racing in the UK is hugely lucrative, worth nearly $4.5bn annually and every day lost costs racetracks thousands of dollars.
