Protesting the handing of a death sentence by a Syrian court to some political prisoners, dozens of fellow inmates have been on an indefinite hunger strike in Hama jail.

In the latest, 11 people have been told they will be executed for taking part in protests, which were peaceful demonstrations, in 2011. They are now reaching out to the world for help through their hunger strike, asking others to be their voices.
