US states could face weather colder than Antarctica
|Several states across the US Midwest are bracing for extreme weather that could be colder than some parts of Antarctica.
At least three governors have issued a state of emergency, with temperatures potentially reaching life-threatening conditions.
Schools, businesses and airports have closed due to the low temperatures and millions of Americans have been warned to stay home to avoid the risk of frostbite.
