Female activists in Nepal call for equality on citizenship bill

Protesters in Kathmandu have said a new citizenship bill treats women as second-class citizens.

Nepal‘s parliament is debating a bill that could make it difficult for women to pass on their citizenship to their children.

Activists say the proposal discriminates against women and are trying to stop it.
