Yemen’s national army killed 25 Houthis in clashes west of Taiz province, national press agency SPA reported Saturday.
The army, backed by coalition jets, freed Al-Maksab valley and Al-Mathhabah mountain from Houthi militia.
Meanwhile, Iranian-backed Houthi militants exhausted all rounds of talks sponsored by the United Nationas, from Geneva to Stockholm, Yemen’s minister of information Muammar Al-Iryani said.
The remarks came during a meeting in Amman with Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs and Government’s spokesperson Jumana Ghunaimat and other Jordanian officials.
He said the Houthis did not believe in peace, and were waging an illegitimate war.
Al-Iryani said the international community had failed to pressure the militants to follow the Stockholm agreement for the past three months.
