The Dakar motor racing rally is under way in Peru.<\/p>\n

The race originally went from the French capital Paris to Senegal’s capital Dakar but was moved 10 years ago because of security concerns on the original route.<\/p>\n

Now organisers are warning that the new route could be one of the hardest for competitors, both physically and mentally.<\/p>\n
