Hamilton comes home to Puerto Rico
After 262 years, one of the US’s founding fathers has come home to the Caribbean.
The Broadway musical, Hamilton, has premiered in Puerto Rico.
The musical’s composer, Lin-Manuel Miranda, spent parts of his youth with his relatives living on the island, as well, and he is raising more questions about President Donald Trump‘s spending priorities and his $5bn border wall.
Al Jazeera’s Charlotte Bellis reports.
