US sanctions on Venezuela hurt vulnerable ordinary people

So far, the United States has focused on sanctions to increase the pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

That has made an already dire economic situation for Venezuela worse, hurting its vulnerable ordinary people.
