Philippines journalist charged with tax evasion

A senior journalist in the Philippines has appeared in court over multiple tax evasion charges.

Maria Ressa says the case is politically motivated.

Her news agency, Rappler, has been called “fake” by the government of President Rodrigo Duterte.
